Thanks for the add
We're excited to be here. Just found this site from looking for a couple recommendations.
We are planning our "Big Trip" for the 2022 season.
Planning on going from AZ to Denver, stopping at 4 Corners first - just trying to figure out if Rt 285 from Pagosa Springs, CO to Denver is ok for us. We have a 43' 5th Wheel pulled with a 3500 Ram...
Thoughts please.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
You are joining a good group of friends here with good information to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add information if you can. If you are experienced in mountain driving you should be fine. There are a couple passes to deal with.
Good luck and enjoy the adventure!

Welcome, this is a great place to ask, learn, and share experiences.
I have done 160 & 285 and also 160 to I-25. Either way you cross Wolf Creek Pass but it isn't difficult if you have some experience in mountain driving. It is four lane so pick a comfortable speed and gear accordingly. There is about 40 miles difference so your ultimate Denver location may help you decide on the best route. Here is a listing of all the paved highway passes in Colorado. Enjoy the trip
