That one new guy

Hi my wife and I are new to full time Rving. We started at the beginning of April and been touring around Oregon. Found some great places and some ok places. IF you happen to run into us feel free to say hello.

We are from Washington and been tent camping for years but as my wife got older (ha ha) she wanted to get a RV so we got a class A RV and found some reasons you wish you could take them for a bit to test them out .. So we got another Class A and decided , kids grown and house too big. Lets hit the road.

Any one have advice on where some Rv groups are at so we can join them in some adventure?

Sorzante,

Welcome to the Forum. There are forums listed above that include full timing. Might be a good place to check out. IN the Forum drop down menu. Otherwise, just join a conversation, make some connections and see if you find people of like mind.

Some of us are not yet retired and so awaiting our turn . Lynne

Sorzante;

We are glad you joined us. Congratulations on your decision to full time it. I always wanted to do that but DW won't give up the sticks and bricks. Post often and share your new RV adventures with us. Enjoy the forums.

If you happen to come down the coast, plan a stop in Newport at Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort. Absolute best on the coast and arguably, the state. While there visit and enjoy all the great attractions available in town that include aquarium, bay front, brewery, lighthouses, Nye Beach, golf course, and of course all the great restaurants.

Wander over to site #18 and I'll have a cold beer waiting for you and some great conversations.

Ron

wow thanks for the welcomes

Lanerd, we did part of the coast already. We made it to Lincoln City and we had plans to go to Newport next but we turned around when our friends called and wanted to stay the night with us so they could visit the Seaside Aquarium. We're slowly heading up the Columbia Gorge now. Its really nice scenery here but awfully windy. We need to stay around the area since the sticks and bricks needs a paint job this summer. We didn't sell the house we rented it out using a realtor friend we know. Maybe we'll circle Oregon and hit you up on the way back up. At some point the idea will be to head East, since we both know the I5 corridor quite well but haven't been too far inland. Plans are sure to change a few times though I'm sure, since we really have no idea what we're doing....
