Trying to introduce myself again

Hello, I'm Brenda.

I am new to this forum and really don't use forums in general.

So, about me. I am a 41 y/o woman. I'm an EMT and Firefighter (part time) and a medical tech in a doctors office (full time).

At the moment I own 3 if the vehicles that this group is dedicated to in the pull it behind you variety. 2 hybrids (2001 and 2004) and one of the pop-up type (1983)

I joined the group to discuss a major over haul of one of them and need to know if there is an appropriate forum to discuss such a things as major over hauls and rebuilding of them. If someone could please direct me, that would be wonderful.

I also need an idea of what is allowed to be said in different forums as apparently if you use the wrong words it is moved to the appropriate forum.

I do hope this was an appropriate introduction. I'm really new here and kind of thick headed at time, so I'm not sure I understand what I am allowed to say where.

Thank you,
Brenda

Hi & welcome to iRV2. Glad to have you.

The best thing you can do is read the Forums 101 thread & the Community Rules.. You received links to them your welcome email sent to you just after you registered. That contains everything & more you need to know on how to participate in forum discussions & what the rules are.

Our forums are divided in sections & each section has a definition. Choose the forum section that best fits the subject of what you're asking based on the forum definition. Our moderators can move a post if they think it would get better answers in another area.

It's really very easy, once you get the lay of the land.

Thank you Lori, but I'll be honest, the whole thing has me confused. I read the rules and tried to follow them but I guess I'm just way too stupid to understand this community. So I guess I'll just get out of here and find some place less confusing. Maybe youtube has some videos to help me or something on facebook. Something a moron like me (only once degree and just a couple of dozen computer certs and 20 years of programing) can understand without asking for help.

Thanks.

Bye.

There's a learning curve with anything, but 50,000+ members have made posts, with 500+ of them having over 1000 posts, so it can't be difficult. Just relax, take a deep breath & try again.

Brenda, please be patient with us, no pun intended. I am kinda new here too, but I will try to help you. I honestly am not sure what you are asking about, but you are in the introductions sectoions.
You need to go to the top of the page and click on Forums, and RV forums and find the catigory the best fits the unit you are talking about, and ask your question with a new thread.

Brenda welcome. No need to rush off but do some exploring (trial and some error) of the different forums here. Look at some like the Vintage RV forum with lots of good info and a good place to ask questions, The general RV forum, the Travel Trailer forum and loads of other.

The moderators are pretty good at correcting an placing questions were they will get more answers and they will let you know if you have "broken" the rules. Believe me I have broken many but that is just how i roll.

Good luck and i do hope you give us another look
