Brand new to forum but not so new to camping. Just ordered a Forest River V-Lite 30WFKSS to replace our beat-up 97 R-Vision Beachcomber. We will be towing with '12 GMC Sierra 2500HD CrewCab 6.0L Vortec.
This will be the first time dealing with slideouts so I can use any advice in the Do's/Don'ts of maintenance and operation.

Howdy and welcome! Congrats on the new rig; you must be very excited! Be sure to post some pics when you get it. As for the slides, there are treatment products you can buy for the gaskets. Depending on the type/brand of slide mechanism you have, be sure to get the manufacturer's recommended maintenance info when you take delivery. In fact, make sure they provide you with manuals/user guides for ALL the systems and appliances. Good luck!
