Very new

Hello all. My name is Jeremy and I am very new to the realm of R.V.ing. In the past, I have no desire to own a motor home, use a motor home or to be in a motor home. I acquired a 1982 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. The price I paid made the idea of owning an RV very inviting. I picked it up for a song and a dance. While my performance was magnificent (in my opinion), I still feel I came out the victor in my fight. Well anyways onto the RV. The Pace has 67,178 miles on the Dodge 440. This thing runs like a champ and seems to start flawlessly. It is a 36’ motor home. It sports green shag carpet with orange and brown accents with dark wood cabinets. The plans are fix the ceiling, remove the carpet and replace it with Pergo, remove and either update or replace the furnishings and update the entire inside. There are some issues but I will post those in the correct forum.
Please remember upon reading with I say I am VERY new to the RV world. I have posted a picture to show what I do. I am not new to the mechanics of automobiles but am lacking from there. Any suggestions, comments or concerns would be greatly appreciated and accepted.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig. Good luck on your updates. Just take your time and enjoy, would be my only suggestion.

I would see it time and time again in the 20 years I spent paying auto accident claims. One tree (or rock) in 10 miles, either direction, and they manage to hit it.

Welcome to both the forum, and the world of RV nuts enthusiasts. It just may turn out to be such a great adventure you'll wonder why it took you so long to get started! You wouldn't be the first.

Keep us up to date on your project's progress, and we do LOVE photos here.

Happy trails...
