Want to hit the road!

Hi, everyone.

I live in Northern California and I'm planning to buy a travel trailer soon. We live in fire country and want to be able to bug out with the animals (big dog, little dog, cat & cockatoo) when we're forced to leave due to power shutoffs or evacuations, or just to stay on a friend's property on the coast when the air quality gets bad.

We're a little limited in what we can tow (2018 Ford Explorer Platinum), so we're looking at the Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser 19ERD with a GVW just over 4K. We like the way the mid bathroom separates the living areas to avoid too much togetherness in a small trailer.

That would be a nice little travel for short term relief/evac

With a GVWR just under 4100# the loaded up tongue weight would be roughly 500# which is under the 'rated tow capacity' of 5000#
