Weekend Warriors on the Front Range
Hey-yo!
Just wanted to introduce myself - I am a 33 year old Agronomic Crop nerd originally from central Kansas (Ellis/Hays) - living for the 9th year in Colorado Springs. We are avid campers/fishers/hunters and are excited to join the forum. We run a 2001 Silverado Z71 with a Pioneer 18t6 (23' - 2003) - and it's my wife Roni, my 2-year old Emma, and our dog Riggins. My wife grew up in Black Forest, Co so she is normally the navigator...I'm just the driver and the one who ensures we have plenty of beer. We just moved up to the Pioneer 18t6 from our 1969 Prowler (been in the wifes family since new in 1969...finally had its day last year with a broken axle + massive collateral damage at 60mph that was, with a rig that old, beyond repair).
We have a boat house back in Dorrance Kansas for our sailboat (Lake Wilson / Cedar Bluff) but normally spend our weekends in the Gunnison National Forest area, or Boulder/Golden, or Salida, or wherever we can find!
