So, our first order of business was to have safety issues resolved.....
Primarily, no brake lights (Except the cyclops light) no turn signals, and no headlights. (Flash to pass operates all 4 hi-beam bulbs normally) I have running lights however. It's the oddest thing.
We also knew it needed an engine and genny service, especially since the genny wouldn't start. (All of these issues we were aware of prior to purchase.)
Local RV shop offers a spring checkup for $200 which includes oil changes, so it seemed reasonable enough to go ahead and let them do it, and tell me what other things they find....
Good news : Engine & Generator now both start with relative ease.
Bad news: They still havent figured out about the lighting and where the problem lies....
I directly spoke to the tech working on my coach, and expressed my concern of when does "chasing wires at $120/hour" become "running new wires at $120/hour"?
We agreed to a 2 hour diagnostic to chase/discover the fault(s) and from there, discuss what options are available.
This may end up being something that I have to chase down, on my own time at a later date. I have a mechanical background, so its not impossible, I was just hoping to have this coach "road-ready" a little sooner.
