We're here finally!

My wife and I have been researching RV life literally for years and have made our first purchase (well, second if you include the first purchase had a certificate of destruction). About a week ago we picked up a 2004 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 37C and will have many questions to follow. Thanks for the add and TIA for any support!

Glad to have you join us here in the forums .

When asking questions please remember to include chassis manufacturer info , some of us aren't up to speed on all the units out there ... or take a few mins and set up a " Signature line " and it'll automatically appear below your posts , as mine does below this one.

Congratulations on joining us on our journeys. We have a 1999 Fleetwood Pace Arrow ( 36 feet with a tag axle) and have had our share of troubleshooting issues on our aging coach. Post any questions you may have here and I can assure you, based on my experience, that you will receive helpful answers. Just be sure to be as specific as possible as to what the problem is, and post pictures that illustrate where/what you are trying to get help with. You will be pleasantly surprised. This forum has helped keep my 20 year-old coach reliably on the job since we bought it in 2015. Welcome, again, to an experience that will open your horizons, present incredible wonders, and even, from time to time, intervals of blissful relaxation.
Good luck and maybe I'll see you down the road.

What engine is in your new purchase?

And what was the "certificate of destruction"?

Certificate of destruction means that the vehicle was deemed by an insurance company to be damaged beyond repair and can never be used for anything but a parts donor. In the case of our purchase, it had a clean title issued from the state of South Carolina but in our home state of Florida it had been apparently destroyed 13 years prior even though everything about was good. Long sordid story but there’s a good lesson: never ever buy a vehicle of value without doing an exhaustive VIN check

Are sure it’s a W22? At 37’ it could be a W24 they did have some out in 2004 I believe?

Do you know if the Allison 1000 transmission fluid has been changed to Transynd? That year came with Dexron iii.

Also has the Bosch brake recall been done on it?
