We've done it!
After years of saving and months of research, we've done it! I'm happy to post that today we purchased our first 5th wheel: an Open Range Light 318RLS! It had the best mix of the features we'd been looking for and we were able to purchase from a local dealer for an excellent price. We've also got an F-250 that we ordered coming in any day now. While I'm still 18 months from being eligible to retire after 30 years as a civilian with the DoD - we're looking forward to getting started enjoying our future lifestyle on weekends and leave periods. We've already spent many nights in campers that were on-site rentals, so we know we'll like the lifestyle and looking forward to the many interesting places to visit and new friends we will meet.

Congrats!! Open Range is one of the RV's we are contemplating for when we go full time, but we have 12 years to go, so for now we are still "camping". Beautiful 5ver---enjoy!!
