Our son & his wife are in Portland - it would be so weird not to be near family over the holidays.

We drove through that park last summer - looks so well kept.

Hi all. I've been lurking for a while and learning so much! For a few years we've been planning early retirement and full-time RVing. We had a small class C back in the 90's and enjoyed it. Since we were kids we both enjoyed camping, and more recently travel and backpacking.

All of a sudden it all seems to be happening so fast!

We decided to remodel our house of 16 years so it would sell faster, but mid-remodel, we had 2 unexpected "as-is" offers (sold!), end of May we moved from house to apartment, in June I retired & had foot surgery, then husband retired, last month we found & bought an RV, we sold our pick-up, and traded our car on a toad and.....will be going full time in October. For the most part this is all positive and I feel fortunate - but I admit, my head is spinning.

Without all of you and being able to lurk in on your great conversations, I'd be in full time panic mode. Instead, I think we'll be able to pull this off. Due to husband's research, we found a 2011 Winnebago 32H, exactly the floor plan we'd hoped for - prior owner kept it in great shape and made some nice upgrades. The honda's getting set up for towing today.

So, hello. Thank you. I love the way you all try to help one another, and I look forward to joining in.
We jumped in 6 years ago. Only had a RV for a couple of years befor.
Retired and left the same week . New truck and fiver. Still at it good luck.

We stayed in Elwha Dam RV park outside Port Angeles. We loved it and will stay there next year for 2-4 weeks. Nice people, nice campground.
