Where to go, stay and what to see?

To All,
We are brand new to the RV circuit and just picked up our Newmar New Aire. We are making it up as we go. We will be leaving the Devils Tower, WY area late September and making our way south. We plan on stopping by the Denver area, but need ideas on where to go, stay and what to see in Kansas, Nebraska, the panhandle of Oklahoma and northern Texas and New Mexico in October. We have a very open schedule, as there isn't one. We have a couple of Dogs with us and like hiking, small towns, and unique adventures. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you in advance.
Kindly,
Paul & Kelly

howdy and welcome aboard! So many things to see and do in the areas you mentioned. If your schedule works out check out the Albuquerque Balloon Festival (October). Reservations and tickets are a MUST. Also while in that area Loretta Chapel in Santa Fe is worth a couple of hours and Santa Fe in general can take up a couple of days or however long you want to take. Wishing you many miles and years of making memories.

Nice to have you here with us.

Browse the forums and ask questions you'll find our members willing to help you if they cam.

I agree with spending some time in Santa Fe. It's a beautiful city with old world hospitality. A side trip from there up to Taos and Angel Fire will put a smile on your face.
