will be asking for help!
We just bought a 1979 Itasca suncruiser for 1000.00. It had been sitting behind a garage for the last 4 years. It's our 1st rv and needs quite a bit of work inside. Mainly new ceiling and floor because of water damage need to put new coating on the roof. Motor is good, runs well but needs new batteries. The furniture is in unbelievably good shape as well as the appliances. I am sure we will be asking for lots of advice. Hoping to take our first RV trip the end of May!

Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!
WOW! It sounds like you got yourself a bargain! With a lot of TLC she'll be good as new in no time!
BTW, I would suggest you post specific questions over in the appropriate areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

No matter how good they may look if the tires are 5 years old no more than 7 years old replace them. As a Winnebago Product owner you may also join WIT.

Welcome and glad to meet you!
X2 with the tires. Age kills these type tires more often than miles. The sun and oils in the surface they are parked on all break down the rubber in the tires.

Howdy from NYC and SC and welcome to the forums. Congrats on your new rig! With a lot of TLC you should have exactly what you're looking for.
x2 on the tires. Age kills them so think about replacing real soon.

Welcome and Congrats on the Itasca. Winnebago advertises that they keep all the molds and specs for all their products, past and present. You can find a link to Winnebago 's website in the owners forum section should you need a specific part or manual. Call them and give them your Vin #.
