Winnebago View 3.5 L Gas Question

Looking for any info on the towing capabilities for this RV. We purchased new in 2008 and have 15,200 miles on it now. We love the View and are very happy with the 11-12 mpg gas average we have been getting. We have never towed anything with it and are thinking of setting it up to tow a 2 horse trailer with 2 horses. (Weight aprox 5500 lbs) Any opinions or experience with this on the View???? Glad to find this forum.

Hi, welcome to IRV2. I can't help with your towing question, but if you go further down the page you will see a section for towing that might be helpful. I am sure you will get your answer soon. Safe travels.

Our 2010 View/Navion had a towing capacity of 4500 pounds (I think). Ours was a diesel, maybe the gas is higher.
I think Mercedes does not allow more than 4500 to 5000 on this chassis.

Check the Winnebago website, they have some great information going back several years and you may find your answer.

Good Luck
