Smile Yep, New Guy

New to the forum.

Bought our first RV ever at the end of December 2013. A 2013 Jayco Greyhawk 31DS. Loved it and RVing.

Last week decided we love it enough to upgrade. Purchased a brand new 2014 Thor Tuscany XTE 36MQ and take delivery sometime next week. Have to figure when the schedule permits us to take the time for a thorough walk through.

Now we are really excited and have a big trip planned starting May 11th.

From Salem, OR down the coast all the way to L.A. for nephews graduation from medical school. From there cross country to IA for a family reunion. Get to see how the DP does over the mountains of CO.

From IA back to Salem through SD and to Mt Rushmore down into Yellowstone, up into MT to Virginia City, a ghost town where I spent a summer at age 11. From there to Spokane, WA then south to the Columbia River Gorge and Home where immediate planning for the next trip begins.

Glad to be here and will likely spend a lot of time on the forums. Hopefully I'll gain knowledge and be able to contribute in a helpful way.

Mike

Welcome! I haven't used the forum much the first year (2013) but use it a lot now. It's a great source of knowledge and shared fun. Sounds like an exciting trip! Be prepared for the usual "new unit" glitches which always occur but I know my Fleetwood Bounder we got 2 months ago has been pretty glitch free. Those are some of the best things to find out ... unusual conditions that we all share, unusual fixes, etc.

There's some new member groups, etc. that you can get acquainted with I think too. Good luck and have fun
