Yes, I'm a newbie!
I will be retiring in 1,087 days (but who is counting...) and we are planning to travel for at least a year just looking over this great country of ours.
My husband is a custom fabricator and will be building a version of a floorplan we purchased from Tumbleweed Tiny houses but on an extended car trailer. Either that or if we can find a great used trailer we can rehab, we'll consider going that way as well.
Strangely enough we'd been talking about doing this for the past 5 years - that retirement is going to be so much fun talk - and a little over a year ago I was hired by Amazon and for the past year, I recruited people to work in our fulfillment centers all over the US & Canada. I was tapped for a new role last November and am now the Program Manager for CamperForce - a recruiting program in Amazon that recruits work campers. It was KISMET! Though I haven't been doing this long it's enabled me to meet so many wonderful work campers and learn more than I ever could about RV camping from people who have the experience instead of floundering around on the internet!
I look forward to learning a lot on this forum.
