Young Newbie Couple!

We acquired a 1972 Dodge Adventurer in impeccable condition in April and will be moving into our RV full time this November.

The only problem we're having are the age restrictions for the RV in the parks! Seems to be a bit of rough going thus far. Any suggestions for places around San Diego? I work from home so wifi is a must.

State park campgrounds don't usually have age restrictions. Regarding WiFi, if it is essential for your work, you might want to get a Verizon, AT&T etc Hotspot to make you independent of campground WiFi which tends to be slow and sometimes unreliable.

I know some parks do limit vehicles based on age, but in my experience many base these limits more on condition. Unfortunately an RV the age of yours is quite often in less than stellar condition. The key is to really spiff up that RV and make it look GOOD!

In San Diego try Santee Lakes....very nice park and I've seen all ages of RV in there. They do have WiFi on site:
http://www.santeelakes.com/

If you're able to get your own internet solution (e.g. MiFi or such) you can look at County Parks, State Parks & National Forests...all of which have no age restrictions. There are several, very nice County Parks in San Diego:
County of San Diego: Camping Park Information

For the longer-term having your own internet solution will give you alot more flexibility.
