Adding A Post To A Thread Over 209 Days Old?

I need to add a post to the 2011 NKK Special Events thread. When I try to do this I get a message nothing can be added because the thread is over 209 days old. How can a post be added to this thread? The 209 day limit should not apply to threads that will be changed throughout the year. As Special Events are added, they need to be added in one thread. This makes it very easy for members to see what events are available for them to attend.

Just check the box that allows a post at the bottom of the warning.

Thank you very much. I tried your suggestion and it worked. I did not see the box to check. I just got the rejection after submitting the post.

I've missed that box myself, Gary, more than once. I think we ought to wrap these around the warning do draw more attention to it.
