On an Android phone there are 3 ways to set the date and time.
Manually
Automatic via internte
Accept an incoming phone call.
Yup, most phone companies will send the time and date along with the "RING" signal.
Under Settings Then Date and Time, there should be an option for Automatic Setting, Check that box and let the internet set it if you are Wi-Fied, or your Phone company if not.
True story.. I once commented that the "official clock" at work was a bit off.. Someone said "Compared to what"
My watch of course
"What do you set your watch by"
The clock (Which I owned) at the other end of the hall

Today that story is shorter, My Watch is set by the NBS (via radio by WWV)
