Hey bap...

What I found, was some of the ads were taking forever to load. They are not hosted on the irv2 server. They all have to load, before the page stops loading. Since the site derives so much of the funding through ads, we are kind of in a choke-hold.

Some users have chosen to put an ad blocker extension on their web browser (Mod Edit)...

Maybe he has a vintage computer?

Sometimes I find that using Chrome loads the ads faster, and therefore the page.

Bap, this site has so much stuff running in the background, it is very slow! The internet connection you have has a lot to do with it to! Run a cleaner on you puter to get rid of the cookies, and broken files! See if that helps? Rail!

Great many of ads on the site that have to load.

It is a shame.

An ad blocker helps, I had one it caused other problems so I got rid of it.

You really have to be careful about taking your courser around on the ads as they download stuff. Run a cleaner after you have been here.

FireFox and AdBlock Plus pretty much block all the ads and popups.

Bap, I also have problems at times, I use Internet Explorer and Firefox for my browsers and if it does not work well on one then I switch them. Also, try to only have the irv2 running as the only page running, and do not have your home page running in the back ground, that seems to help also! Hope this helps you! Rail!

We are on a metered connection and now all of a sudden there is a video running on the side. As much as I hate to, I guess we will have to kiss this site goodbye. I had it set as my home page for years but the ads are the pits and the video is a no-no as it eats up our data allowance too fast. Perhaps I will check back down the road some day, but for now, so long, it's been nice while it lasted.
