I want a list of the words that we may commonly use not realizing they are on the list! I don't see why that is that hard to understand. Geez, it's like talking to someone who thinks "Louie, Louie" is a dirty song because they don't understand the words being sung!

Lorna, I don't ever recall seeing a post of yours in the queue for any reason and am at a loss as to why you have the desire to continue this discussion.
You have never had a post reviewed for content for ANY reason, so again I am perplexed.
I have posted in a previous post that we've been taking this action ALL ALONG as a "manual" effort and now have learned it is possible with an "automatic" effort. As a result of some "bugs" in the software, there were some posts that inadvertently made it to the queue that shouldn't have and EVERY ONE of those original posters understood the efforts we were undertaking and had no issue.

I even went as far as to invite you to PM me or contact me through email, which you have chosen to ignore.

We have operated this forum for some seven years and have done our best to stay away from the perils of "over moderating" the forums and allowing our members a great deal of editorial "license" as far as many issues are concerned.
I submit to you this has not changed and NEVER will...

Again, there will be NO list published or distributed to anyone and I ask that you accept that decision as final.
As one that's never been subject to moderation, I submit you'll never notice anything operating any different than it ever has.

I welcome your continued participation in these forums and look forward to reading more of your travels and experiences with your RV.

Hey Hitch, maybe you have a bug in your software word trap. You know how good spell checkers are, they only do a good job on the general topic or area of which the language is used. For example Dick and Jane, results in ***** and Jan.

Maybe Lorna has run into some of these type of problems.

For seven years we have operated what I think is a great resource for the RV'er, where one could come to find answers to their questions or post their experiences with their rig.
We've done our best to make the experience a pleasureable one for everyone involved.
We're proud to have hosted National Rallies where we've had the opportunity to meet one another face to face and in many instances make life long friends.
We've said many times that the content here in the forums should be that which we would not hesitate to discuss with kids running in and around the campfire in the evening.
You'd be surprised to know that in the admin forum, we actually repeat that basic criteria on a daily basis when considering whether or not a post is over the line or not.

What most folks have no idea of knowing is that this site is "managed" by a team of some twenty-five moderators spread strategically throughout the forums.
These moderator volunteers spend a good deal of their time both as "cheerleaders" and "traffic directors", in that they are tasked with making certain that posts are in the correct forum topic which, in some cases means they "move" or "link" a post to another companion topic.
We've also asked them to monitor their respective topics for questionable content, in order that we keep the forums free of those posts we're all talking about.

More and more in recent months, as free time becomes more valuable for all of us,we have noticed it more and more difficult for our moderators to spend time in the forums.
As a result of some recent changes with the Groupee forum software package which we receive as a subscription, we learned the possibility to enter certain words in a database to preclude them from being posted in sentences.
Inasmuch as the "option" was now made available, and for the aforementioned reasons, we chose to explore it's use.

I sincerely apologize for any "difference of opinion" that any part of this action may have created, but respectively submit that the time has come for this matter to come to a close.

Respectfully,

Bob Gregory
