I have been a lurker for too long on this site. I would like to say how upset I am with the membership and with CG postings! As of this date there are 2140 members of IRV2, and that is a free membership. I would like to see at least one CG posting by every member that has not posted sofar. I apologize if I have stepped on anyones toes, but I want to see some CG's posted. I have made myself a promise to post from AL, and NC, the two States that I love dearly....

'Jack,
This site
has a lot of campground reviews and it's also free.
Speaking of your 2 favorite places, we have been on a road trip and are currently in Louisiana on our way to Gulf State Park at Gulf Shores,AL and eventually to our home in NC.
You have good taste in states.
Happy camping,
Lee

When your right, your right so here goes. I recenetly stayed at the KOA on Siesta Key just north of Key West. Half the fun is just getting there. The new bridges make much less nerve racking but it is still a basically 2 lane road most of the way. The office staff is plentifull and friendly. They always help you back in but that is because the sites are incredibly small and they don't want you to back your unit into your neighbors. It's a KOA so it is not cheap $80, but you have the comfort of knowing what you are getting. That is if you also know that the electrical service in the keys is the worst in the state of FL. It did go off for short perioeds of time but not enough to melt the ice cubes. We went on a holiday weekend to the pool was wall to wall kids. We drove to Key west (33 miles) and went to Monty's had lunch at their open air restaurant and swam in their free and uncrowded pool. Driving back on Sunday will be a nightmare if you think about it so don't. As you look out over the water just understand that you are looking at the bluest water in the world.

Guys... I think Hobbyjack is referring to iRV2's own campground review area that you can go to from our own forum.
You do have to register for free by going here.... and clicking the "register" link up in the right hand corner.
He is right... I know everyone has gone to at least one campground...or even if you ad a review to a park that is already registered would be a nice thing to do...
Eveyone...give each other the holiday gift of adding or reviewing a campground on our own forum!!
(PS...Thank you GaryKD, tapd, Cruzer, Brad03ca and docusn for doing more than your part with your posts! to each of you!!)

Yes we do need to input in CG. Speaking for myself, prior to software upgrade a couple of years ago I did input CG reviews but when they were wiped out I just forgot about doing anymore. We will get over it and get on with it.

Trying to "shame" people into doing something?? Sorry Hobby - we don't all come here for CG reviews. There is so much more info - you're going to get only a percentage of input in any category.

MonacoMama has already pointed it out, but I also think Hobbyjack is referring to our separate CG Reviews
area that's accessible by clicking the link at the top of each forum page or one of the links I've provided in this post.
For the record, as of this posting, iRV2 has 27,138 registered members of which 2,142 have chosen to also register in the CG Reviews section. In the CG Reviews section there are 455 campgrounds listed with a total of 449 reviews. These reviews have been viewed by members 223,059 times.
There is ample capacity for additional reviews and the administration encourages every member to post a fair and objective review of the campgrounds they visit in our review section.
