Is it just my imagination, or did the main forum page change in some sort of way?

Just asking!! Love this place, but my eyes are either playing tricks on me, or my 'puter has decided it's time for a different font.

It's been a bit strange for me too. I'm losing lines and bars (seperating posts). I've been running spyware detection daily (visiting new sites) but I don't think that's it. But sometimes the pages load right.

Bill (Warpath) has been making some modifications over the last day or so. He has been eliminating some graphics to reduce the bandwidth requirements. He'll probably stop by shortly to explain this in more detail than I can.

The 2 changes made where the elimination of graphics on the main forum page and the underline under links.

The graphics on the main page was increasing bandwidth usage as Rusty mentioned.

I also removed the underline from all links in the forums. It makes it much easier to read as well as easier on the eyes.

Lorna it sounds like your running into a separate browser issue. I have had what you have explained happen on a computer running a older version of IE but have not seen that problem in quite awhile. If you are able to update to a newer version of IE that should solve that problem.

I'm borrowing my mom's computer (the one she never uses because she doesn't know how to log on ) and there is no way I'm messing with her programs. The only thing I've done is add some spyware/adware detection stuff and import my Juno account in so that we can log on. I will just have to live with any problems I may encounter(or use Stacey's Laptop ).

My computer is in storage.... I miss my computer!!
