Click on the Forest River logo and it will take you HERE. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "join group". That should be all there is to it.

I joined
Well, I went ahead and joined but it's not a place to post I guess. So what is the purpose? Sorry, but I'm having a hard time maneuvering around iRV2.
I can never find this topic unless I come to it from an email. I'll learn eventually I guess.

We sure are a chatty group for wanting a Coachmen forum. (insert grins here)
So, I'll start. I feel like my Rig is an orphan even tho Coachmen is still in business.
We've had our rig for about six weeks now and when we registered it, it is reg. as a
Forrest River Freelander. It's a 2010 class C. The other rig we considered was a 09 coachmen and we didn't get it because it had the window in front over the overhead bed. The books that I got with my rig are generic and there is no information on the
water system. I think I'll see if I can get something from the company telling me how to operate it. It was a chore to fill and sanitize the fresh water tank.

Although I appreciate that an Owner's Group was set up, as mentioned in a previous post, there does not seem to be any real purpose to it. We can't post, ask questions of fellow Coachmen owners, or interact in any way. There are plenty of other Owner forums on here, I'm just not sure what the big deal is about setting up an Owner's forum.
thanks,
Phillip

We have just added a new Forest River Forum.
As Forest River has recently acquired Coachman it seems like a great time to open this new section. As that section evolves and fills with threads, we could look at adding further subdivisions into brand specific subforums.

We would like a Coachman forum. Asked before but was told to use FR forum. Felt out of place so have not used it.

If not used, we can't measure activity in order to justify creating a new section.
When there is enough activity & a need, we will consider adding a new Forum. In this case, since Coachmen is a division of Forest River, we would consider adding an Owner's Group to the Forest River Forum if there was enough activity & need to warrant one.
Until now, this thread, as an example, has been dormant since mid-2009. That is not enough interest to create a new section at this time. Should circumstances change, we can revisit the request.
