I would like control of my Personal Message area so I can delete my personal messages.
I see no purpose in blocking this feature.

As far as I know this is not blocked.
-Go to your PM in the Personal Zone.
-Check the box to the left of messages you want to delete.
-Go to the bottom of the page and click the button "Delete Checked".

You are correct.
For some reason I was looking for delete under the edit function.
Thanks,
-Tom
