Emails

I used to get daily emails showing new posts from the forums that I was subscribed to. I don't seem to be getting these any longer.

Any suggestions?

Go to your user CP and scroll down to “edit newsletter preferences “. Check off the ones you’d like to receive and then select “ update “ at the bottom of the list.

Cliff's response is for newsletters. I think you're referring to your thread subscription notices.

If that's the case, review these:
1. Check your notification setting via your User CP > Edit Options > Messaging & Notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode
2. Check your junk/spam folder
3. Whitelist the domain with your email provider. More & more providers are clamping down on security & can be blocking us.

Makes sense to me as I thought replying to a thread was an automatic subscription to that thread.

That only applies if you have your options set to receive notification. Go to your User CP > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscriptions and set how you want to receive notification.

You don't have to remember everything. It contains all sorts of info on how to use & features of this forum. Post 11 in that thread specifically addresses thread subscriptions & notifications.
