Emergency forum?

I have only been a member for a short time, but I saw something today that got me to thinking (that usually spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E).
Anyway, I was traveling down the interstate on my job, and I saw a travel trailer off the shoulder, with no one around, no vehicle, no people, no anything. It was parked well off the shoulder, like somebody felt that it may need to be there for awhile, and it looked pretty forlorn.
My question is: Is there a specific forum on this site that, say someone traveling through, not from this area, had a breakdown or such could go directly to it and post that they need help and what type of help they may need. Then, some of the fine fellow RV'ers that live in that area could rapidly be alerted to that post and go to their rescue or give them advice on where to go (or not) in that area to get assistance.
I know most have or should have a good roadside assistance plan, but maybe they don't. That would give a great opportunity to do a good deed, then have the person that was helped pay it forward.
If there is not now a forum of that type, could one be started? I know from experience that when you are a long way from home and need help, that just having someone who understands come by sure feels good.
Just a thought.

No, there is no specific "Emergency" section of the forum, and there is no plan to add additional forums at the current time. Typically anyone posting with "Need Help" in their subject line will get attention and help from other posters.

That is a really good idea! I know with Good Sams, they have a section on their site called "standby sams" where you can sign up and put your location, and contact info. And if somebody traveling in your area is lost or broke down, etc. can contact you. I signed upand have a few calls from travelers looking for a good campground in my neck of the woods.

Might be worth considering. Many specialty forum websites such as the Dodge/Cummins TDR (Turbodiesel Register) forum have an emergency forum. In the case of the TDR, it's the Truck 911 forum as seen below.
