Feature request: add .PNG as allowed image format

Feature update request: add .PNG as allowed image format. That would allow screen captures from iphones, among other things.

It already does, this is a PNG

I upload these types all the time.

Hmmmm do you use the app?

I use the website from an iPhone. It specifically states ".PNG invalid file type" after it uploads my file...

Testing png... it failed.

So the actual error, using my iPhone, says:

IMG_1234.PNG
this JPEG image has the incorrect file extension

Thanks, I am off to Google, maybe it's my phone...

I do know the app has limitations, file extension type may be another one.

P.S. According to the Manage Attachments section of a post, png is an accepted format.

Hmmmm do you use the app?

I use the website from an iPhone. It specifically states ".PNG invalid file type" after it uploads my file...

I use a windows 10 PC w/Chrome browser. Using the snipit tool, creates a PNG file. Upload the PNG file and you are good to go.

I get that message when I edit a screen shot, otherwise they load without difficulty.

Then I would suspect the edit program. The original screenshot I posted, shows it's edited as I added the red pen highlighter around letters png.

I think this is a Safari issue and therefore would not apply to you as you're using Windows.
