File Size

Tried to post a owner's manual I developed for Thor Axis & Vegas. Did not see the file post. It is almost 7Meg in size. Is that too large to post?

There is a limit to allowed file size ; 2500>3000 ( not sure of the acronym) if memory serves.
Answer would be in the " FAQ" drop box , blue bar under you welcome message.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Where and how did you try to upload it. We have a separate section for files. Look for the " more " tab on the upper tool bar.

Yes - this is too large and likely to fail to load. Try to get it under 2 megs please.

An owner created Thor Axis/Vegas Owner's manual?!

Please don't shrink it. Instead cut it up into sections; like Part1 (Chassis), Part2 (Electronics), Part3 (Fresh and Waste Water), etc.

I started to do the same thing for the Outlaw, but TMC made so many changes in 2013 that my manual was not relevant.

Thanks for your efforts and Safe travels.

Segmenting the Axis/Vegas Manual

In order to meet the file size I'd have to chop the manual into into 9 separate files. To load them in the files section each would be loaded separately. To have a complete manual the files would have to be reassembled. Doing so will mess up the MS Word cross references, table of contents, list of figures, etc. The resultant manual might be confusing.

As such, I'll not load the separate files. Anyone desiring a cy can just send me an email and I'll forward an electronic copy. Send email to bevedfelker@live.com.
