"Formatting" of My Posts Horrific!

Would appreciate help, greatly and SOON. When I prepare a New Thread
or a Reply ALL appears to be just fine, in that the sentences are full, etc. However, when I hit Submit and the post appears in the forum all is "chaotic", in that one line may be full, while the next may have one or two
words only...the same throughout the post. Rather than leave it that way I hit "Edit" and follow through with making all the many changes...which is extremely time-consuming. I've searched as best I know how and tried
different browsers, with no success. Can I get help, please? Thanks!
Larry

Are you hitting the return key at the end of each line to try and format the text? You should just keep typing and let the words wrap automatically at the end of each line. Only when you need to start a new paragraph should you hit the return key.

I think Bill hit the nail on the head, your post would look like the below if you did not hit the return key

It would look like this when using the return key at the end

Many thanks to All! I am doing just that, hitting the return key. However, it seems only in the recent past that this problem began(?). I'm confident you've "hit on it". Again thanks. Larry
