How to delete a thread or post?

Is there a way that a member can delete a post or thread after it posts without asking a Moderator to do it?

I thought you could delete your own post by editing it, and a delete thread button appears. Of course I could have dreamt that....

Hi Joe

Members have 60 minutes to edit or delete a post. A thread cannot be edited or deleted by members. You can report anything you want edited or deleted and we’ll see if we can assist. Cliff
