LOCK-UP!!!!
I have tried to stay with iRV2, hoping that you would get the problem with the slow loading page fixed. Apparently you just don't care.
I don't have any problems with any other web-site except iRV2. So, I know that it isn't my computer or my server.
I was in hope that you would have fixed this by now. It started after your last "tune-up" of the website.
Hopefully this threadwill get to the proper person and not lock up my computer. I am to the point of having to shut down my computer to get it to run while trying to read the posts on iRV2.
I really like iRV2, but, I am tired of all of the hassle of trying to use the website.
Thanks,
Indiana Journey

Never have a lockup problem on this site. Using a MacBook pro & Safari browser.

Me three! Try clearing your cookies and temp files, and if you can, put it on an acceptable list for your virus software. Some of them (like Norton) can really slow the page loads down, and even though one site may load fine, something obscure can make it slow way down while it determines a site is "safe".

Try cleaning your Cache in your browser. Also what version of a browser are you using. When was the last time you did and update on your drivers and Java?
And last, it may be an issue with your internet provider. But with the thousands of users, it is not an iRV2 issue. It is on your end.

I have noticed irv2 is painfully slow loading (compared to other sites) butI haven't had any lock-up issues.

I am on an older Toshiba Laptop that we drag all over the continent for using the Internet. I seldom have an problems reading IRV2 at any time. I use Mozilla Firefox for my browser and Windows Washer at start-up along with Immunet 3.0 for virus control.

My 2 cents: Painfully slow on my iPad and on my desktop computer. Consequently, I just don't read IRV2 as much as I used to, and that's a shame.

No problems loading irv2 pages, using Macbook and Chrome. I disabled Adblock to see if that made a difference, maybe a 1/4th second longer refresh rate with the ads loaded. My wife's desktop with Vista loads EVERYTHING slowly, I think it's McAfee Virus scan that slows it down. Her next computer will be a Mac.

TXiceman, just the kind of answer I need- "it's on your end".
I guess that the other people that are having problems will get the same answer.
This used to be a really good site. It now appears that we are on our own.
My personal opinion is that the site got too big without having the proper tools to handle the volume.
I am not a "computer geek". I am a long time RVer and will continue to be.
All of the other RV websites work fine for me and that is where I will be visiting in the future, not at iRV2.
Good By,
Indiana Journey
