LoFi Version for slow connections

The forum and such are great....but so slow when less than optimal connections are available. Any chance there could be a loFi version similar to the Escapees have or FMCA has? It would really be nice.

You may want to try going to User CP, click on 'edit options' and uncheck the following:

It's not a perfect solution, but it may speed things up a bit.

Another option is to set us RSS feeds of the site on your system. I haven't looked into it in a while, but its basically a digest copy of the threads you're subscribed to. The HTML is sent to you, but its stripped of alot of the graphics and what not that are in normal HTML feeds. This is of course, providing the server owner is using streamlined RSS Feeds.

I believe Firefox has a built in RSS Feeds option. Here's the link for the RSS feed for the site.

However, this will only bring you a list of the most recently replied to topics / new topics. When you click the links, it takes you back to that thread on the main site.
