New Feature - iRV2 Rig Registry
We have a new feature to enable members to document their rig and modifications; The Registry.
It's searchable, editable and a great way to document gear and modifications (or get ideas for future projects). Members can build out entries over time, edit them and control privacy. As the database grows it will be a nice resource for the community. Here's an example so you can get an idea of how this page will look with your rig in it. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f284/dutc...-a-309416.html
Look for the link to the Registry on the upper nav bar or the tab at the top of the page.
When you add a new entry to the Registry a corresponding thread will be started automatically in the new registry comment forum so that folks can ask questions or make comments.

Neat feature...Thanks!
FWIW, I noticed that an uploaded or linked "Registry Photo" is required before a Registry is visible to the membership...critical if someone doesn't have a digital photo they want to use available.
Safe travels

Correct. A photo is required.

Pretty cool! Since this is a centralized location for info, it'll be easier than searching the individual owner's forums, especially for upgrades.

Well, there's a limited number of photos which can be uploaded. So for those of us who've made extensive upgrades/moderations & want to show pics of all of them, you can only display photos of 3 things. You can list all changes in the box fields, but can show just 3 photos.

It's not really intended as a photo album (we already have those), rather a showcase of the rig as part of a larger registry. It will be extremely useful for those shopping or trying to decide what to select. For more info on a specific rig, you can dig down into a members photo gallery or forum topics.

There is a section for "Tow Vehicle." I interpret that to apply to people registering their travel trailers or fifth-wheels, and not to apply for vehicles towed behind motorhomes.
There are a lot of questions on vehicle models suitable for towing behind motorhomes. Would it be possible to create a separate field in the Registry for towed vehicles? That way, people could search that field and not come up with results that include towing vehicles.
Anyway, thanks for this new feature!

I'm not sure if an additional field for towed vehicles is possible as the registry is a standard feature on several other SK sites.
We may be able to change the field title, but for now, it's perfectly acceptable to list your toad there.
I did.
