It is a security feature in IE9. It modifies the page to prevent cross site scripting. Chrome doesn't even check the page. Firefox doesn't check.
IE9 is protecting you and you complain?
It does not indicate anything is malicious about the site, just that the potential exists and IE9 blocks it. If you go to Yahoo Sports a lot of their articles do the same thing.
If you want to turn off XSS filtering you can. See the instructions on page 2 of this thread.

If it is a problem for you turn XSS filtering off.

I am not at all sure how you interpreted my comment as a complaint. Just an observation. Both IE9 and NIS and doing their jobs.

I observed that IE9 was trapping the error and NIS had little to do with reporting or generating the event.

I'd suggest you go to www.helponthe.net These guys are good and have probably already solved the problem and will provide a fix.
