New sticker durability

Be careful when washing areas with the new iRV2 stickers with the pointed edges. I mounted our sticker on a white plate for use on the front of our truck. We live in 'love bug' country and had to scrub off bug carcasses twice in five days. After the second time, I noticed that the pointed edges of the sticker were beginning to come loose. My old oval sticker withstood years of washing without any damage. I will probably put my old plate back on the front of the truck and 'retire' the new one...

I would say the best place for the new ones will be on the rear of your towable or MH.

What you use as a cleaning agent might be a factor, as an example orange based cleaners will remove some 3M adhesive including VHB tape. Other cleaners will act as a solvent.

Do what I do, once I install a sticker I want to last, I put about 5 coats of clear coat paint over it to seal it in .

Probably a good idea. All I was using was water and a sponge to clean mine. The issue was the pointed edges on the new sticker. They are much more susceptible to peeling than the old smooth edged oval style. The new one is very nice, but likely won't hold up well on the leading edge of a vehicle. On the back of a rig should be fine.
