On the main page of each subject, is a button "NEW THREAD".
It is NOT on a subject you are replying to.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

You cannot start a new thread from the main menu page showing all the various forums. You also can't do it while inside an existing thread. In other words, the "New Thread" button won't be available if you're reading this post.

You have to click into a particular forum category to start a new thread. An example,,, from the main page, you can click on the "Forum 101/Announcements/Forum Concerns" to bring up a list of threads under it. You will see the "New Thread" button to the left, just above the long list of threads. Works the same for the other forums as well.
