Not a fan of the new PARTNER ads in listings
I'm a paid "supporter" and I'd like these new partner insertions in thread listings and everywhere else you have them showing now to NOT show for IRV2 supporters. They are distracting and affect the experience in my opinion.

Not a fan of the new PARTNER ads in listings
Come to think of it...YES!
Then again, since I’m using Tapatalk...they’re allowing ads as a ransom to purchase the Pro version. [emoji35]
I guess I’ve become numb to ads. Argh.

Okay, dumb question. What are the "Partner ad insertions" that are mentioned? When I click on a thread or on any forum, I do not see any ads outside of those at the header and the right margin. However, if I remember correctly, if I happen to visit this site and am not logged in, there are ads between some posts in a thread.
Is this something different that I am (fortunately) missing?

Okay, thanks.
I never use the path you show in the top photo, but I always use the "New Posts" button to call up the list of new posts. Again, there are no ads that show up when I scroll through the list of new posts. Could it be a browser setting or the browser used?

I used to use an adblocker a while back but decided to go without on forum sites that I visit often. The off to the side ads are one thing but these new "partner" ad insertions between threads are another. I'll reconsider using an adblocker if they stay..

+1
Ad Block Plus is the thing to add to ones browser. Using NoScript Security Suite completes the protection.
For those not familiar - both these add-ons can be fine tuned to allow or disallow tracking beacons, entire advertising server farms (imagine YouTube without advertising!) and other forms of tracking and advertising targeting.
I allow advertising serves on several sites I use, but iRV2 isn't one of them that gets a full, free pass. I allow some adverts here because I recognize the value I receive from other users of these forums.

There are ads across the top and down the side that’s enough, so the powers that be please remove the thread embedded ads.

On the molbile or desktop site I just scroll right on by.
Doesn't seem that hard to do or distracting because it's very obvious they are ads.

Because a free source for quality help and information that needs to pay the bills runs ads that can easily be scrolled past?
I never understood why ads are so offensive.
