Hello,

This is my first post in here, I have been lurking for quite a while. The reason I have been lurking and did not join is because in the Owners Forum there is no forum for Monaco owners. Since there is a huge amount of Monaco rv's out there in the form of gas units, diesel pushers, and all forms of towables, I found this unusual.

So I have finally decided to get off my huge behind and join so I can ask why there hasn't been a forum for Monaco owners and maybe ask if one could be added. I think it would be a nice addition and you would more than likely get a whole new group of people joining in and posting.

Like I said, this is my first post so I hope I did it correctly. I had a bit of trouble logging in and then finding out how to make a post. I am not a computer genius.

Thanks for listening and have a good day.

Here's a reply from TXiceman as to why there wasn't another forum, seems to fit here as well...

Some of the forums are sponsored by the manufacturer. Some do not feel it is appropiate to sponsor a forum where owners can publicly bash them even if they do get praise.

The Administrators consider forums as requested by the members on specific topics. One concern is it tends to dilute the other forums as members will tend to post all items under the one forum when it might be better to be under a more general topic.

gasbag, welcome to iRV2.com. You will find we are a group of fun loving RVers that like to help out eah other where we can. This being the case a lot of problems we have are common on all brands of units. Knowing this we to try to keep the general public aware of how to find and repair these with out having to read every brand section for the answer. I am sure you will continue to enjoy this forum as much as you do you Monaco unit and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences.
