Photobucket is doing it again and limiting to a virtual nothing to upload for free(25mb - I had over a gb). If you have an account (free) see your email. I finally just deleted mine as all of the photos are on an external drive though not as nicely organized. I tried to download them as on what I now call Garbagebucket but that site kept stalling out. Oh well. it was a good storage site until they got greedy

I hadn't logged onto Photobucket since they changed their policy, but I just did and it looks like all my old photos are still there. I wonder how long they'll keep them. There's no way I'm doing the housecleaning
FWIW, I've never trusted sites like that for my primary storage of anything. I've got everything on hard drives at my home and only used PB for sharing purposes. They can do what they want to with the photos.

Unfortunately dumped their email but what it generally said is that after 1 June if you exceed a certain number of mbs, your photos will be blurred unless you fork over some money. You will supposedly be able to see them with a right mouse click but there will be a PB watermark. At that point I deleted my account. If you go onto their website you will see their latest 'update' on the home page.
As a note, I hadn't visited the PB site since mid 2016. Now - don't have a reason. My main external hard drive is 100gb and a second one, if ever needed is 640gb. I really don't need Photobucket, just enough ambition ( ) to organize my photos better

I've got a drive caddy and a number of 250Gb drives. I've probably got enough storage to last me the rest of my life
I just logged on out of curiosity to see if everything's still there. It looks like it is. I'm not using it anymore. I guess they'll delete my old photos sooner or later.

Can any one tell me the easiest way for a non techie to get my pictures from PB and to Amazon for example.
I was glad to see that PB still has them because I don't have them any where else.
Thanks, Max

Alternatively if you know where to find your pics on Photobucket you can download them and save them to your hard drive. Then you will need to upload them your next hosting solution.
