pic post issue

Ive seen other members posts that have personal pics instead of the basic forum supplied avtars .
I found the Profile upload browse button, but cannot find how to upload a personal pic onto the posted page (thats the area to the left of this post)
What am I missing?

Addendum
Hmm I dont know how I missed it,but I did do it this time. It showed, however, that my pic upload failed, but I see the pic actually posted fine.
BTW the avtar is of us in Lone Pine CA looking West at Mt Whitney area. We just love the Hwy 395 corridor from LonePine Ca to Bridgeport Ca. Lots of side roads to great wilderness lakes mines, and their old camps etc.Lots of mining history from 1850 to 193os
In the summer the daytime temps are great once you get from Mammoth Mtn to Bridgeport.

Take a look at post #7 in the Forums 101 - posting, accounts, basics thread, it may help you with photo posting.
