Max,

If you like, we can make special arrangements for you to continue to post photos the old difficult way.

Just let us know.

Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy:.....Think I'll wait till the new photo posting program is in place...although, the current system sure is a fun puzzle to work on, kind like Rubic's Cube!! Never solved that one either!! Steve

If I can learn photo posting, I know y'all can.

In my working days, they used to use me as a good example of a bad example!

I stumbled on this thread as I was looking for instruction on putting a photo in my signature. I did figure out how to do my "avatar" but now I want to put a photo of my rig in my signature.

Shall I wait for the incredibly easy new method? Or is the signature photo a different beasty?

MBL... You can go to this link... and then go to "Placing Photos in Post" link. You need to start at #6 if the photos are not in the album here...
Good Luck..You can PM me if you need more help (although I doubt you will!)

Thank you very much. I've downloaded the info and will study it carefully. And then . . . we'll see. Or not.

Un huh. First thing is the right click left click business. I'm a Mac person and my mouse only has one clicker. I guess I could just click and see what happens.

So, if I understand correctly, I can upload a pic to the Gallery here and then link to it? Or I can upload to my Picasa album and link to that?

Am I confused yet?

You can do either one. The important thing is to get the "properties" of the photo
Good Luck

I tried to set up a photo but it didn't quite work. I put the test on Test Your Changes. I wanted to PM you but I don't know how.

To PM me...

Click my name.
View my profile
Scroll down and click the "Send Private Message to MonacoMama"[/list]or in my case ...when you click my name and you will get a list of things to do... including:
Invite MonacoMama to a Private Topic
Do that...

I know what you did wrong... but I am not sure how to tell you which way to do it with a MAC.
You can also include your phone number & I can walk you through it.
