Private messages
Do Moderators or Administrators read private messages sent between other members?

Reasonable question.
If someone received a less than nice PM from someone, can it be "reported" from the PM itself? Of course it could be quoted and sent another way.

Yes, you can report a private message like any other post. There is a report message icon in the upper right corner of the PM.

If a member mistakenly responds to a PM directly from their email notification, then that PM & the response is sent to the site's helpdesk where the Admins can see it.
Always login to the site to respond to PM's.

If you get a less than polite or harassing PM from a site member, be sure and report it to the Administrators or Moderators. They will review the information and see if action needs to be taken. I have reported an improper PM in the past and had no more issues. I do not know what action was taken.
