Problems in the past two days.
I'm having some issues posting .
Last night , I posted to a thread and found out I'd given wrong info , but when I went to delete the post , it wouldn't go away ; tried twice. 
Also on another , thread , I returned to , edit , my post ( EDIT ) still showed as an option , typed in the edit , but it was rejected saying my edit oportunity had timed out.
Just now , I posted to a thread , and my post didn't appear ?
Site issues ? Or am I doing something wrong at my end ?

Sorry you're having these issues. I haven't had any such complaints at the Help Desk. As you know we can assist with edits if appropriate ( they don't upset the thread). Have you tried deleting your iRV2 history and clearing your cache ?

I did run a full system scan , cleared cashe , and did a system back up last week . But I'll clear history again , and see if anything repeats .

Update
I went off line cleared cashe and other performance adjustments in my laptop, then logged back in and repeated the post that didn't appear . 
Appears fine now. Got to love technology.

deleting post, like editing, IS time dependent and is a bit 'different'...
did you finish your initial deletion ?

Yep, I've used the delete before and it's worked fine , but tried twice last night , then went back in and erased the post, posted note about not being able to delete then unsubscribed to the thread this morning.

In the past month, I had 2 posts I could swear I posted not appear (one with a pic attached) after the page refreshed & neither showed in my stats. With over 21K posts, it's not like I don't know how to complete the process. However, I chalked them up to a "senior moment" or they just vanished into cyberspace. Maybe I wasn't crazy after all.
Knowing things go awry, I regularly delete cookies & clear cache, but I don't recall if the missing posts were prior to or after I'd done that.

On senior moments. 
Remember . If you can't find your car keys , you don't necessarily have a problem ; HOWEVER ; if you have car keys and don't know what they're for , well that's a different story.

Back to your delete/edit questions....
For delete: I did a test but could not replicate the delete not working. Keep in mind the post I was able to delete was a reply post & within the 1hour edit window. Members cannot delete a post if it's a 1st post - technically constitutes the start of a thread. If a post is the start of a thread you want removed & it has no replies, please report it to the staff & we can remove it.
For edit: Was it possible you were close to the end of that 1hour edit window when you tried to make the edit? That's the only reason I can think of why the Edit button was available to you at the start, but by the time you made the edit & submitted it, the window had closed.
