Question

Have been using IRV2 forum app for quite a while and just recently find that when I try to view a posted video, it exits the app, goes to Safari and opens the you tube page.
I then get the message something like cannot find.

Used to work flawlessly from IRV2 app. Strange thing is, I can enter address of the video manually into Safari and everything works.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if you were able to correct, what did you do?

Running on iPad 5th generation, with ios 13.6.

Don’t worry bout it. If it’s a cache problem, It’ll fix itself either after a restart or you empty the cache.

If not, it’s the Poster’s fault, or the video was taken down.

Question

Works for me if I view IRV2 through browser but NOT through the app.
Not a real problem just not convenient.
Don’t know if it’s an update to the app or something conflicting on my end.
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced and if so what they did to correct.

You might try deleting and re installing the app. I do this on occasion and it helps on some of these quirks

I use the app on my iPad. Occasionally I will run across a video that won’t play. When this occurs, I switch to “Web view”. FYI, you can access web view by tapping the 3 dots on the top right corner of the screen.

Yosemite77, thank you. That worked.
Now at lease I can see video without leaving the app.
Will still experiment and try clearing cache to see if that does anything.

Cliftall, will also give deleting and re-installing a try also.
