Search function.
I (too?) often post with a malfunction in our RV rather than search for previous posts. Today I thought I would search for “power sun visor” as ours will come down but not go up.
I get option to search topic, posts, or title , but none of my search results apply to my query.
What am I doing wrong?
I am on an iPad device.

Hi Randy,
I've found that the search box in the header (powered by Google) to be much more effective at returning appropriate results.

Putting your search criteria "power sun visor" into that search box opens a google search window with this "power sun visor site:irv2.com" in the search box and results in 237 hits.

That search feature (google) doesn’t show up on iPad, BUT I searched on the title bar of the home page and I did get logical results!

There's a pretty easy workaround for iPad.
Open the google search window.
In the search box, type your search query like you would normally
then
type one space followed by site:irv2.com
Your query in the google search box should look like this: power sun visor site:irv2.com
That drives the google machine to search only the irv2.com website.

The indigenous search function is limited...this we know. But, it is part of the software.
The Google Search can give TOO many results...generally agreed.
So, check out this search "Macro" AKA "Widget" that was built for us by a contributing member:

Also I should have noted I use the iRV2 app as opposed to logging in online through google on ipad
