Searching
There were search directions posted awhile back, which I forgot and obviously can't find. I just love doing a search for tires and getting threads like, "Electric bike or not".

Here’s a screen shot of the search engine located towards the top of the page.

And...a member created a search tool to help folks. It is discussed/explained here:

Best luck

This isn't answering your question but another suggestion you can use is one that I've been using for several years now as I have found the forum's search function inadequate at times is to go through Google and have the Google engine do the search. I actually have found better results at times doing it this way.
In the Google search engine box, use "site:www.irv2.com" as a search suffix.
As an example, if you're searching for Lt235/85r16, Load Range G tires, use that subject's wording before "site:www.irv2.com" in the Google search engine box.
The results will give you threads on irv2 that pertain to that subject. Visible for each result will be the iRV2 sub-forum in which the discussion is located, the date of the first post, the number of posts in the thread, and number of participants.
So the exact wording you'd type in the Google search engine would be "Lt235/85r16, Load Range G site:www.irv2.com"
Go HERE to see the results
Just another alternative you can use if yiou get frustrated using the forum's search function as I have at times.

Thanks...and, please notice that using this suffix in a Google search is exactly what the search block shown in Clifftall's post above does (there's just no extra typing).
Safe travels

Oh, sorry! I really feel foolish. I've been really posting a lot of inaccurate and not well-thought-out stuff lately. I keep blaming it on old age but more likely a combination of that and being pretty cognitively challenged to begin with.
It may be a good idea just to remove this post, yours, and my initial post so the thread appears cleaner and less confusing to others. Again, my apologies!

Just What the Doctor Ordered
Thanks..... Book marked the page for future reference. Hopefully some of the people that have been struggling thru the search box are reading this post.

No need to remove these posts
They explain what is happening when a member uses the Google search block at the top of any iRV2 page...that's good stuff
