I am on a Mac running High Sierra 10.10.3 using safari.
When I am on a page browsing I get redirected to fake Alerts.
I deal with these at work. I know they are fake. My concern is that the site seems to be affected by this either through an advertiser or hacked. I haven't been able to figure out what advertiser it might be.
Its happened twice in the past hour. I am not clicking an advertiser. Just reading a post.
The first was the fake "flash player update" redirect
The second was a redirect to a second tab with a security warning.
People that post in response to this, I know its fake you don't need to tell me.
I don't need to scan my computer etc.
I do this for a living.
Just letting the admins know.
Making others aware. I deal with people after they have called the numbers and downloaded the fake flash player. Just don't do it.
