Some subjects just seem to stir people up. Here are a few

· Gas vs. Diesel
· Ford vs. Chevy
· Synthetic oil vs. dino
· Should you carry a weapon
· Best tire brands
· Do I need a surge protector
· Dogs vs. Cats
· Good Sam vs. Coach-Net
· Tow dolly vs. 4 down
· Running propane while driving
· Macerator vs. slinky hose
· TT vs. 5er
· Brakes for a toad
· Parking at Walmart
· Should I eat my pet if I run out of food (oops wrong forum)

See what I mean?

In today's world you are taught to tip toe around because "somebody" might get offended .

I for one are offended that people get offended because I enjoy my life..

Have fun and keep posting.

Why else would I buy one? If I wanted to pay someone elses salary I would stay in hotels and drive around in a car. It would probably be about the same money. BTW if someone calls me cheap my reply is "Thank you" especially the way prices are nowadays!

A BIG AMEN to that one brother!

"Those who think they know it all are a hinderance to those of us who do."
And then this:

Yea!

As long as you don't attack anyone else personally no worries...

Not necessarily true - all it takes is for someone in a thread to CHOOSE to take another's' opinion on an ISSUE personally, regardless of how it's worded, and you next have them AND a moderator or 2 on your neck for "abusing forum guidelines" - been there, done that!!

Heck, its not a good post unless someone either violently agrees or disagrees wit cha!

There are always some folks who are intolerant of those who don't agree with them..

YUP - like I said...

Keep on keepin on!
In general, I find this a great board full of GREAT info on a wide range of subjects - but I ALSO have seen the most thin-skinned individuals, and overzealous moderators here as well...

The way I heard it was with a new rope. I guess it doesn't matter a rope is a rope.

Moderators are volunteers who do the best they can with the little time they have. Often there is more to a situation than members are aware of as we keep member / moderator interactions private. This is a member respect issue and we work hard to keep it that way.

I am closing this thread at this point and hope that we can move on in a more productive way and discuss something RV related.

Thanks for understanding
