This Site is Not Secure

I have used this site for many, many years. The past month I started getting a message with I log into your site.... "This site is not secure. Do you want to proceed?" I'm not seeing this with any other site I use. I've made no changes to my computer.

I’d also check and make sure that your computer software is up to date.

The site is secure and you may need to update your browser again like you reported back in December.

This is not a binary secure/not secure question. (In fact, nothing is "secure." It's a matter of degree. But I digress.)

I am getting no warnings, but some browsers and security software packages are stricter than others and some might possibly be behind the times. iRV2 is using SSL, with a currently valid Cloudflare certificate using what I believe to be a currently-acceptable encryption protocol.

However, someone might have added Cloudflare to a "don't trust this Certificate Authority (CA)" list, or the browser might decide that 256-bit Elliptical Curve Crypto doesn't meet their requirements (hah! or perhaps have failed to add this perfectly good algorithm--when last I checked--to their list of acceptable crypto algorithms).

The OP needs to post the browser and browser level to do any diagnosis, along with any other relevant information such as any security software being run on that computer (Norton, McAffee, Kaspersky, native Windows stuff, whatever), the operating system, and its level.

I myself have no reason to worry about using iRV2, and I'm paranoid (that doesn't mean they're not out to get me!).

Yes, I had this problem in December but went away for a while & now it's back.

My bookmark brings me to the
'lock symbol' & https://www.irv2.com/forums/f62/this...is-not-secure-

I'm on a desktop computer; not phone.

I'm on Windows 10 which is automatically updated.

My Windows Defender is automatically updated. I don't use any other security program.

Google Chrome Version 109.0.5414.75 - automatically updated

Like stated.... I don't have this issue on any other site. I'm confident the site is secure because I've used it for years but I'm curious as to why I get this message. It's not a big deal when asked "Do you want to proceed?" but it just gets me thinking .... why?

On Windows 10, I use the Opera browser to access this site and have noticed that it doesn't show the https in the address bar, only the www . irv2 . com. But,,, it does have the little lock symbol, which when I click on it, shows that the site is secure.

Tried it a few minutes ago with Microsoft Edge and see that the https is shown in it. Not sure why Opera is different.

Opera is owned by Facebook (has been for several years).

I didn't know that! My paranoid side is showing but one of the reasons I don't do facebook is because I've read over the years that website is big on tracking. I only use Opera for this and two other websites, don't use it to surf. Even so, I may end up moving to another browser after I do a bit of research.
